GitOps & CI/CD

Every change goes through Git: build in CI, push to a registry, and Flux rolls it into the cluster.

The challenge

Sound familiar?

When deploying means running commands by hand, nobody is quite sure what is in production. A quick fix applied directly to the cluster gets silently overwritten later, and rolling back means remembering what the previous version was.

Our approach

What we do

  • 01

    Builds in CI

GitHub Actions workflows build container images on every tag, run the checks the project already has, and push versioned images to Artifact Registry.

  • 02

Git as the source of truth

A gitops repository describes what runs where. Flux watches it and applies changes, so the cluster always matches what is committed.

  • 03

    Release automation

Image tags flow into the gitops repository through a reviewed commit. A release is a tag; a rollback is a revert.

  • 04

    Secrets kept out of Git

Secrets live in the cluster or a secret store, never as plain values in repositories or workflow logs.

What you get

  • CI workflows for each repository with versioned images
  • An Artifact Registry repository with clean tagging
  • A gitops repository and Flux configured on your cluster
  • A short runbook: how to release, how to roll back
