Security Hardening

Origins locked behind Cloudflare, secrets out of code, and a clean recovery when something has already gone wrong.

The challenge

Sound familiar?

Exposed admin panels, origins reachable directly by IP, passwords in config files and plugins nobody has updated. Often the first sign of trouble is a server running at full CPU for someone else's botnet.

Our approach

What we do

  • 01

    Cloudflare in front

DNS and proxy through Cloudflare, WAF rules for the attacks you actually see, rate limits on login and API endpoints, and real visitor IPs restored at the origin.

  • 02

    Origin lockdown

The origin accepts traffic only from the proxy. Admin interfaces sit behind allow-lists, and services that should be private stop listening on public addresses.

  • 03

    Secrets management

Credentials move from code and config files into a secret store, get rotated, and are scoped to the services that need them.

  • 04

    Cleanup and recovery

If a server is already compromised, we identify what got in, preserve evidence, restore clean sites from backups, and rebuild rather than patch.

What you get

  • Cloudflare configuration with WAF and rate-limit rules
  • Origins reachable only through the proxy
  • Secrets moved out of code and rotated
  • A written report of findings and changes made
