Site & Platform Migration

WordPress, OpenCart or legacy PHP moved to Next.js, Go and PostgreSQL — without losing data or search rankings.

The challenge

Sound familiar?

An old site on shared hosting is slow, hard to secure and expensive to change. But it has years of content, links from other sites and positions in search that took a long time to earn.

A careless rebuild throws that away: broken URLs, missing images, lost comments, and a traffic drop that shows up weeks later.

Our approach

What we do

  • 01

    Inventory first

We pull the full database and file tree, list every public URL the old site answers to, and agree on what moves, what redirects and what is retired.

  • 02

    Rerunnable import

Content, media, taxonomies and users are imported by scripts we can run again at any time, so the final sync before switch-over takes minutes.

  • 03

    URL parity

Every old address keeps working: the same URL, a 301 to its new home, or a 410 if it is gone on purpose. Sitemaps, canonical tags and structured data come along.

  • 04

    Fallback ready

The old system stays untouched and available until the new one has proven itself under real traffic.

What you get

  • The new site running on a staging address with your real content
  • A complete redirect map from old URLs to new ones
  • Import scripts and a verification report comparing old and new
  • Media moved to cloud storage and served from your domain
  • A switch-over plan with a rollback path
